The Worthington Squares dance group participated in a square dance demonstration for the Worthington Historical Society at their annual dinner in 1978. Bud and Jean Goodwin were presiding officers of the Worthington Squares at the time. Two groups of eight dancers each performed, including Donna and George Ruck, Bud and Jean Goodwin, Nancy and Dick Helpman, Jim and Martha Maddox, Jane and Clarence Sneed, Roger and Romell Smith, Parks and Mary Ann Denton, and Joan Bruxton and Bill Lutz.
