Winfield and Cornelia Vest are pictured together. A note on the photograph indicates that when the photograph was taken, Winfield had just gotten his hair cut and refused to have his hat off in the picture. Winfield Vest was highly involved in Worthington’s school system, having taught school, acted as principal of the high school, and served on the school board. The two lived at 91 East Granville Road and had four daughters (Kate Gloyd, Caroline Long, Cornelia Corbin and Bertha Vest) and one son (Samuel Winfield Vest, who died of diptheria at age 10).
