Background

This program is from a Declamatory Contest held May 4th, 1900 at the School Hall in Worthington. The Flint Orchestra and Worthington Glee Club provided musical enterainment in between speakers. Those who gave speeches were M.C. (Morgan) Milne, Birdie Evans, Esther Williams, Lewis Johnson, Grace L. Moore and Sidney Thatcher. In 1900 the School Hall was located in the building on the Northeast quadrant of the Village Green.
