This photograph appeared in the Columbus Sunday Dispatch Magazine on March 28, 1948 captioned "Students will receive merit certificates and driver's licenses at completion of course. [Highway Patrol Corporal K. K.] Elder and Annette [Halley] rehearse 'commencement'."
The article describes Worthington High School's 92-hour accredited driver's course, which included 60 hours in the classroom and 32 hours of driving taught by superintendent Harold C. McCord.
Annette Halley graduated from Worthington High School in 1948 and lived at 630 Evening Street during high school.
