This photograph of Ellen K. Gloyd was taken at Baker Art Gallery in Columbus around 1910. Ellen was born to Katherine Vest and Elmer Gloyd in 1909, and she grew up in Worthington. She graduated from Worthington High School in 1927 before she attended The Ohio State University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1932, having been elected as a member of Scholaris, which was a freshman women’s honorary society. She lived at 119 East Dublin-Granville Road, which she owned until her death in 1986.
