Obituary

Robert Charles Holt (Bob), 97, died on Sunday morning, November 20, 2016, at Kobacker House after a long and courageous battle with heart disease. His beloved wife of 76 years, Faith, was by his side. Bob was born on January 1, 1919, in Columbus, Ohio. A graduate of North High School, he was a long-standing resident of Clintonville and, more recently, a resident of the Wesley Glen Retirement Community. A veteran of World War II, Bob served in the United States Navy. Following his tour of duty in the South Pacific, he began his long career as the Manager of Quality Control for Jeffrey Manufacturing Company. Bob is survived by his wife, Faith Margaret (Hartley) Holt; his daughter, Dr. Susan Lynne Holt of Los Angeles, California; and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Nellie Holt, and his sister, Elizabeth Lehman. During his long life, Bob enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
