This directory of Worthington, Ohio, was compiled and published on August 1, 1939 by Leonard Insley, editor of "The Worthington News." In addition to listing the 1775 citizens of Worthington and its environs, the publication offers a street name directory and includes numerous ads by local businesses.

Insley founded "The Worthington News" in 1925 and served as its editor until 1952. From 1933-1943 he was mayor of Worthington.
