Background

The leading headline in this issue of the Chronicle are the thoughts and opinions on the identification cards students have to wear around the school. There are mixed feelings but the intent is student safety. Student Council meeting had a lot to discuss as there was a guest speaker who talked about the two operating levies up for renewal at the end of the year. Student Concerns Committee and Student Council worked together on getting ninth period study hall as an option. But, hopes to extend the grading period for a three additional weeks is still up in the air.

Page 2 covers modular scheduling and how it would look at WHS. In addition there is a letter to the editor about WHS dating or the lack there of it happening.

Page 3 features Senior Spotlight on Evy Pine, a record review of Led Zeppelin III, student article, "Helter's Marvelous Bones," and a student poem, "A Discovery."

Page 4 showcases school sports: Girls Field hockey with a younger team, Varsity football defeats Gahanna, Junior varsity football lose to Delaware and tie Gahanna, and cross country land 4th place at Ashland College Distance Classic.
