Background
Gary Thompson, Worthington High School class of 1983 and member of Boy Scout Troop 268 was responsible for planning and organizing the installation of the Veterans' Memorial on the southwest quadrant of the Village Green. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout through completion of the project. This document is an excerpt of his Eagle Scout project report and tells the story of the project in his own words. Included in the report are photographs of the memorial and dedication ceremony.
