Obituary

Martha “Anita” Jackson, 79, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 7, 2017 surrounded by loved ones. She has been a resident of Worthington for 57 years and is preceded in death by her husband Richard Jackson and granddaughter Grace Jackson. Anita is survived by her children Sue Whitney, Richard Jackson Jr., Mark (Gay) Jackson; grandchildren Alex Whitney, Kay Whitney, Hailey Jackson and Dane Jackson; and brother Hans (Harriett) Pedersen. Anita was a long time member of the St. John’s Episcopal Church in Worthington. The family will greet friends at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. A memorial service will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 700 High Street, Worthington, Ohio on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory can be made to Worthington Resource Pantry, 6700 Huntley Road, Columbus, Ohio 43229.
