Obituary

Ruth B. Horstman, age 93, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, August 7. Preceded in death by husband, Raymond. She is survived by son, David (Gretchen); sister, Lu Newlin from Pennsylvania; Horstman brothers-in-law, Charles (Evelyn) from Maine, and William (Esther) and Fred (Donna) from New York; plus five nieces and one nephew. Ruth grew up in eastern Pennsylvania on a family farm whose deed was signed by William Penn. Prior to moving to Ohio, she taught school in Maryland for a few years. She was a loving wife and mother, and a caring neighbor, with a good sense of humor. A funeral will be held for her at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 14 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St, Worthington where visitation will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Ruth’s memory may be made to the Willow Brook Christian Home, 55 Lazelle Rd., Columbus, OH 43235.
