1955 Cardinal
Basic details
Background
The 1955 edition of the Worthington High School “Cardinal” yearbook features photos of students, faculty, activities, sports, social events and candid snapshots. Ray Heischman was principal and Harold C. McCord was superintendent of Worthington schools, and the yearbook includes brief biographies for them both. The senior class has their individual portraits included, while grades nine through eleven are featured in small group portrait photos staged around the school.
Included in this edition are several updates as highlighted by the editorial staff, such as a significantly broader coverage of extracurricular activities, the inclusion of the Cardinal Court, and a farewell letter to principal Ray C. Heischman in order to mark his retirement.
