Obituary

Ann Louise (Schwarz) Greenball of Worthington, Ohio, passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 90 years old. Ann was born on August 15, 1934 in Columbus, Ohio, to Henry Christie Schwarz and Mary Schwarz.

After high school, Ann became a loyal servant of God by becoming a nun with the Monastery of Discalced Carmelite Nuns of Columbus, Ohio. She was dedicated and in service to them for over 40 years. Ann became a Licensed Vocational Nurse and worked with Alzheimer’s patients for several years.

In the second chapter of her life, Ann worked for Von Maur department store in the jewelry department. She was a member and active volunteer of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Powell, Ohio.

Ann enjoyed gardening, had a passion for animals and classical music. She had a love for life and was known for her outgoing and friendly personality.

Ann is survived by her husband of 27 years, Mel Greenball and nieces and nephews in Texas.

A graveside burial service will be held on Tuesday, January 7th at 11:30am, at Flint Cemetery, 8187 Flint Rd, Columbus, OH 43235
