Obituary

Mitchell Dean Pratt, 63, of Columbus, Ohio passed away January 1, 2025 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born July 3rd, 1961 to Gerald Pratt and Emma Pratt in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a security guard for JC Penney for over 25 years. He was an avid reader and he enjoyed discussing books, music and politics. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his sister, Rebecca Pratt, his brothers Glendon (Ann) Pratt and Brian (Merne) Pratt, his nephews, Andrew Pratt, Daniel Pratt, Alexander Pratt, Jeremy Pratt and Bryant (Morgan) Pratt, and his step-mother, Patricia Pratt. He was preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Emma Pratt. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday January 13th 2025 with a Funeral Service to follow at 12:30pm at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington, OH 43085. Burial Service for family members will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. The family suggests that donations be made to The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital, Cancer Engineering Research Fund # 316744.
