SHAMBLIN Janet "Jan" Shamblin, age 56, of Columbus, Friday, April 12, 2002 at home. Well known Kitchen Designer. She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter Heather and survived by her loving family; husband of 38 years, Terry; son, Terrence (Liz) Shamblin and grandsons, Nicky, Jimmy, and Jacob, all of Rome, Ga.; sister, Ellen Stinemetz of Little Rock, S.C.; brother, Merrill (Ramona) McCulty of Columbus; several nieces and nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Norma Wilson of Columbus. Member of Worthington Presbyterian Church; national officer and past president of local chapter of NKBA. A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High Street, Worthington (corner of High St. and Rt. 161). Rev. Philip M. Hazelton officiating. There will be a gathering after the service to greet family. Inurnment Walnut Grove Columbarium.
