Green Julie Lynn Green, age 49, of Lewis Center, died peacefully with her family by her side, on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Kobacker House following a courageous battle with cancer. Formerly employed as a Systems Analyst at Nationwide. Attended Ohio University. Graduate of Thomas Worthington High School Class of '81. Member of Worthington Presbyterian Church and the Delaware SNB. Julie was a talented Fiber Artist, avid reader and accomplished cook. Preceded in death by mother Dorothy Jane Batton, brother Jeffrey R. Batton. Survived by loving husband of 19 years, Roger W. Green; adoring daughters, Emily and Elise; father, Donald Batton; in-laws, Frederick and Judy Green; sisters-in-law, Allison (Eric) Klein, Laura (Mike) Gaffney; the Batton cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington. Memorial Service 3 p.m. Saturday at Worthington Presbyterian Church, 773 High Street, Worthington. Rev. Dwain Lee officiating. Private family interment.
