ASA GILLET
Died
January 26, 1827,
aged 43 ys. I mo.
and 16 days.
Ponder, reader, on the shortness of life,
And be prepared for the scenes of eternity.

Cemetery notes

Asa Gillet aged about 40 died the 26th & was buried the 28th Jan. 1827 in tier next west of Abel Jones marble monument & directly west of the south side of said Monument he died of a wound received in falling from a mow of hay on a pitch fork
