Survived by husband, Max Backus; daughters, Mrs. J. Ted (Patricia Ann) Barker, Mrs. Clyde (Peggy) Sorensen, all of Dayton; 3 grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Janet Shaw, El Kajon, Calif. Member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High St., Worthington. W. Edge Dixon officiating. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friday.
