WELTZ Bill W. Weltz, 88, of Worthington, Thursday, December 23, 2004. Retired from the Ohio National Guard in 1975 as a Command Sergeant Major. Past Commander of the Columbus Power Squadron District #29. Worked with the NRA at Camp Perry until age 86. Preceded in death by wife Gertrude E. Weltz. Survived by son, Douglas (Marcia) Weltz of Westerville; daughters, Karol (Robert) Price and Kay Grabil, both of Worthington; grandchildren, Kathy (Robert) Hiles, Douglas (Jill) Price, Robert (Sandra) Grabil, John D. (Linda) Price, Tina Riegle, Clara (Terrance) Israel, Cindy Price, Jennifer VanMeter and Alisa Weltz; 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington, where friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Pastor Jeff Dybdahl officiating. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. Donations may be made in Bill's memory to Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio, 3380 Tremont Rd., Columbus, Oh. 43221.
