Worthington Memory brings together tens of thousands of records spanning hundreds of years to illuminate the history of Worthington's people and places. As you browse the site, you will come across items that reflect the norms and biases of the time periods in which they were created. These materials do not reflect the values of Worthington Memory, but are made available to accurately preserve and provide access to Worthington's historic record for the purposes of research and education.
Content with outdated and offensive viewpoints related to disability, nationality and race have been flagged to allow you to decide whether to view the materials.
We strive to continually learn and will update our practices for respectfully and appropriately presenting and describing materials on Worthington Memory. We also actively seek out content for the site that represents the perspectives of all of Worthington's diverse people and history.
We appreciate input from the community and welcome feedback if you encounter materials on the site that require review. Please contact us at worthingtonmemory@worthingtonlibraries.org
