John Sterling Cummons, age 78, of Columbus, Wednesday, February 27, 1991, at home. A retired tool and die maker with Jaeger Machine Manufacturing Co. after 44 years of service. Survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Nora J.; son and daughter-in-law, Jon Gary and Donna Cummons; daughter, Jane C. Reeves, all of Columbus; grandchildren; Tom Cummons of Florence, Ky. And Mike Cummons of Columbus; sister, Helen Craddock,; niece, Dorothy Duncan, both of Logan, WV; niece Jo Anne Horton; nephew, Troy R. Walker, both of Fla. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 1991, at the Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High St., Worthington. Rev. Doran Christensen officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
