Betty Ermine Denney, age 74, of Worthington, Wednesday, at Riverside Hospital. Survived by husband of 54 years, Donald T. Denney; children, Thomas D. (Nancy) Denney of Neoga, Ill., Mary K. (Mark) Minister of Worthington, John W. (Camille) Denney of Lakewood, Colo.; grandchildren, Thomas J., Joseph, Shelby and Robert Denney, Matthew and Amanda Minister; great-granddaughter, Alysha Denney, sister, Majean K. Daily of Geneseo, N.Y.; brother, John K. Duff of Clay City, Ill. Member of Worthington Presbyterian Church, Order of Eastern Star. Graduate of Eastern Illinois University. Former teacher at Worthington Public Schools. Funeral service 11:30 a.m. Friday at Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington, where family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Rev. James Neuman officiating. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may if they wish contribute to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or charity of choice.
