Harold R. Boyer, age 63, 248 W. Rathbone Rd., Sunday, Whetstone Convalescent Center. 31 years in the Purchasing Field and first Certified Purchasing Manager in the Columbus area. Preceded in death by wife, Virginia. Survived by brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Mildred Boyer, Uniontown, Ohio; sister-in-law, Mrs. Mala Liston, Ashland, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. Retired Lt. Co., U.S. Army. Veteran of WWII. Member of Leisure-Blackstone Post, American Legion. Life member of the N.R.A. Life Member of the National Association of Retired Persons. Graduate of O.S.U. College of Education. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, RUTHERFORD-CORBIN CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
