Miles M. Elmers, 6665 Olentangy River Rd., Worthington Saturday, University Hospital. Retired Chairman of the Board, Custom Coach Corp. and founder Detergents Inc. Survived by wife, Leona; son, Kirwan Elmers, Cols.; daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Kessler, Worthington; 8 grandchildren; 2 brothers, John Elmers, Curtice, Ohio and Charles Elmers Pittsburgh, Pa. Member of North Broadway United Methodist Church, York Lodge N. 563 F&AM and Scioto Consistory AASR Veteran of WWII Lt. US Navy. Member of Columbus Athletic Club, The Columbus Club, and the Frontliners. Funeral service 1 p.m. Tuesday, Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington. Dr. William E. Smith officiating. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home, 2-4 and 7-9 Monday. Contributions may be made to Crippled Children or Pilot Dogs.
