Harold E. Denig, age 71, Worthington, Sunday, September 23, 1990 at home. Retired from General Electric after 32 years. Graduate of Valparaiso University and a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Navy as a full lieutenant. Survived by wife, Elizabeth (Betty); son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Kathy Denig, Boise, Idaho; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Adolph Neubauer, Springfield, Mo.; grandchildren, Tom and Krista Denig and Tom and Pamela Neubauer; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Katherine Denig, Brevard, N.C. Member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church. Life member of COPA (center Ohio Personnel Assoc.) Board Member of Lutheran Social Services and Lutheran Senior City. Former member of the Worthington Chamber of Commerce. Funeral service 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, 1990 at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 35 E. Stanton Ave., Columbus. Pastors Frederick Weise and Enno Gahl officiating. Family will receive friends at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St., Worthington, Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
