Edward H. Dettman, age 80, of 2923 Snouffer Rd., Worthington died Saturday, Beechwold Nursing Home. Retired from Defense Construction Supply Center. Survived by wife, Bernice F.; daughter and son-in-law, Mr. And Mrs. William J. Smith of Worthington; 2 granddaughters, 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Gus Dettman of Youngstown, Ohio; sisters, Hilda Morgan of Battle Creek, Mich. And Wilma Applegate of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews. Veteran of WWI. Service 1:30 p.m. Tuesday Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington. Dr. W. Edge Dixon officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday.
