John W. Greene, age 59, of 3668 Elmore Court, Wednesday. Veteran WWII. Survived by wife, Betty; step-son, John J. Murray of Columbus; step-daughter, Mrs. H. E. Truman of Columbus; brothers, Thomas A. Greene, James J. Greene, both of Columbus; sisters, Mrs. Jason Spiers, Mrs. Ann Pierce, Mrs. Joseph Moon, all of Columbus; 4 grandsons; 1 granddaughter. Funeral service Friday 10 a.m. at Schoedinger Linden Chapel, 2741 Cleveland Avenue where friends may call Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
