Helen G. Geer, age 70, Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 20, 1981, Mt. Carmel East Medical Center. Retired inspector for Ranco Co. Preceded in death by parents, James W. and Effie Wilson; brothers, Charles Wilson and Roy Wilson; sister, Florence Churchheus. Survived by husband, John M., of the residence; son, James R. Scales, Columbus; grandson, Steven M. Scales; sisters, Beatrice Saurmann, Chicago, Ill., Leona Oliveira, Thornville, Oh.; brother, Walter Wilson, Rushville, Oh.; several nieces and nephews. Member of West Park United Methodist Church. Funeral service 2 p.m. Friday Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St., Worthington, where family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Rev. James Sargent and Rev. Lester B.Woolsey officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
