Leon I. George, age 84, of 1951 W. Granville Rd. Friday Dec. 5th, 1980 at Riverside Hospital. Retired self-employed general contractor. Survived by wife, Olive George of Worthington, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law, Richard W. and Beverly McLane of Worthington; daughters, Rebecca Beck of Columbus and Arlene George of Columbus; grandchildren, Bart McLane of Columbus and Shannon Tassniyom of Virginia Beach, Va.; 2 great grandchildren. Service 11:30 a.m. Monday at Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High St., Worthington. Rev. William Hamilton officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
