Virginia (Grant) Laird, age 74, of Columbus. Died Sunday, January 28, 1990, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Preceded in death by parents Rev. Charles and Alice Grant. Survived by husband, Victor F. Laird; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and George Wall, Nancy and Mel Vermaaten, all of Westerville; grandchildren, Hans, Gretchen and Grant; brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Virginia Grant, Columbus. Member of Worthington United Methodist church. Funeral service 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, 1990, at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington, where friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Bill Croy officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made in her memory to Worthington United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
