JAMES Donald Allen James, age 91, of Worthington, died Saturday, June 25, 2011, at his residence. Retired Electrical Engineer, Donald worked for Bell Labs for 37 years. Graduate of MIT. Longtime Red Cross and former Worthington Railway Museum volunteer. Veteran U.S. Navy, WWII. Preceded in death four days earlier by wife of 66 years Margaret A. James, daughter Phyllis E. James, and son Peter D. James. Survived by devoted sons and daughters-in-law, Warren E. (Susan) James of Winston-Salem, NC, Leonard A. (Michaela) James of Rockbridge, OH, D. Eric (Anita) James of Fairfield, WA, Paul J. James of Jamestown, OH; brother, David (Liz) James of Kennebunkport, ME; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends may call on both Don and Margaret from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2011 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington where Funeral Services for both will be held at 1 p.m. Mr. Don Rule officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery.
