Obituary

Robert S. Keethler, age 61, Sunday, January 24, 1993, in Mt. Carmel West Medical Center following an extended illness.. Life long resident of the Worthington area. Deacon of Worthington Christian Church. Retired Carpenter and Builder. Member Community Lodge No. 684 F&AM, Scioto Consistory - AASR and Aladdin Temple Shrine. Survived by wife, Carol Keethler, son, Michael W. Keethler of Pensacola, Fla.; daughters, Peggy Butterman of Worthington, Rebecca Keethler-Davis (Randall) Davis of Columbus and Kathryn (James) Smithson of Columbus; granddaughters, Stephanie and Carie Butterman; grandsons, Christopher and Jimmy Smithson, Daniel and Adam Keethler; mother, Edythe Carey of Delaware, Oh.; brother, William W. (Shirley) Keethler; many nieces and nephews. His courage and faith will be sadly missed by his many family and friends. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 28, 1993 at the Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington, where family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Dr. Marshall W. Hayden officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends if they wish may contribute to The Worthington Christian Church Building Fund.
