Nelle S. Holt, age 80, of 482 Oxford Court, Worthington. Born July 9, 1901 in Eckmansville, Ohio, Saturday, January 9, 1982, Riverside Hospital. Daughter of M.D. Shumaker and Mollie Stroman. Survived by husband, Edward E. Holt, of the residence whom she married on April 17, 1923; daughter, Jane and son-in-law, Paul W. Hersey, of Reston, Va.; 3 grandchildren, Deborah, Diane, and David. Preceded in death by son, Jack E. Holt, who was killed in WWII. Survived by 2 brothers, O.E. Shumaker, of Miamisburg, Ohio and James Floyd Shumaker, of Paoli, Penn. Member of Overbrook Presbyterian Church. Memorial service 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Overbrook Presbyterian Church, 4131 N. High Street, Columbus. Dr. Walter R. Young officiating. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington. Private interment for the family Walnut Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Memorial Fund of Overbrook Presbyterian Church.
