This certificate was awarded to Janet Todd, a Worthington High School student, in 1939 by the American Red Cross for completion of a standard course in Home Hygiene and Care of the Sick. Janet Todd was the daughter of a well known African American resident, Squire Todd and his wife Martha Clark Todd.
