Background
This issue of the Chronicle, the Worthington High School student newsletter, focuses on big changes for the school year with a list of school changes for the 72-73 year and an upcoming ballot to decide how to tackle the overcrowding issues at WHS. Also covered is the school production of "South Pacific," WHS Ski Club winning accolades in ski race, a study abroad opportunity to Europe, and issues with lack of interest in school dances from underclassmen.
Page 2 deals with string of thefts at the school, a question of how many schools will be needed to deal with overcrowding, a critique of social studies curriculum, and a Letter to The Editor from a student saying that The Chronicle reports on things after issues are common knowledge.
Page 3 promotes the upcoming Spring Fling, Senior Spotlight on Vince Franz, Coach Dribble honors basketball star, Horatio Van Whatawunder, and a student poem "The Way We Live."
Page 4 covers sports: WHS swim team takes third in State, Worthington tennis team has five lettermen, Varsity, JV and Freshman golfers eagerly await getting back to the swing of things, and Varsity baseball team has hopes for successful season.
