Background

This photograph of Edward "Miles" McCullough (b. 1883, d. 1949) is from the scrapbook of his wife Harriet Griswold McCullough with photographs from 1915. McCullough was born in Gallipolis, but lived in Worthington for many years. He was employed as a court reporter for the Columbus News and later as a credit manager for the Commercial Paste Company according to the July 14th, 1949 Worthington News. He and his family lived at 202 East Granville Road around the time this photograph was taken and later at 167 East South Street. A September 11th, 1947 Worthington News article also mentions that he and his wife Harriett, along with son Edward, operated the Eldridge School on South Street.
