Background
Volunteers, Gerry Leahy and Justine Leahy are pictured in the Keeping Room of the original Buttles House at the Orange Johnson House Museum, located at 956 High Street. They are serving apple butter and biscuits to guests at the Johnny Appleseed Day celebration. The event was hosted by the Worthington Historical Society in recognition of the contribution John Chapman (known in popular culture as Johnny Appleseed) made to conservation, orchard development and gardening.
