Background
This view depicts the Masonic Lodge Building located at 634 High Street in Worthington ca. 1900, with stables in rear. The New England Masonic Lodge was constructed in 1820 and is the oldest Masonic Temple west of the Allegheny Mountains in constant use. Several of Worthington's founders were Masons. An adjoining Grand Lodge office was constructed in 1955-1956, and was converted to condominiums in 2014. The house on the left was the home of Mrs. Grace Gilbert.
