Background

Harry Huntley drives a horse drawn wagon for "The Whetstone Venture", a historical pageant performed during the 1953 Worthington Sesquicentennial. Warren Insley sits beside him. The pageant was written and directed by Frank Corbin, local author and historian.
The pageant took place in Hartford Park, located at Hartford and Stafford Streets. 400 residents were used for the cast and production committees. Tickets were $1.00.
