Background
Two cast members of the "Whetstone Venture," Gayle and Albert Proudley, are pictured here. The historical pageant, performed by a cast of more than one hundred men, women and children from the community, was part of the Worthington Sesquicentennial celebration of 1953. Albert played the role of pioneer Ezra Griswold.
